abstinence youtube

shep and i started making music together when i was 17, we made his first ever track together.

Shep · Shep - Smoke Eyes

abstinence was pandemic era though thats why i'm writing about being confined + wanting to be slutty a lot on No Water which was the first EP we made

comasa soundcloud

honestly dude this one makes me cringe a bit, it took me a pretty long time to figure out how to write words well, its hard for me to listen to stuff before my voice dropped, i had to collect some interesting stories to have interesting things to say, and i sucked ass at mixing until pretty recently. it's not like BAD it's just hard for me to actually go back to.

THISISBLACKVAN · though

i was definitely very much a peripheral member of black van but it was always fun getting manic as shit with will and making weird ass tracks like this one

j soundcloud

probably the earliest of my things that exist publically, still kind of cringe but tolerable because i had a penchant for excessive reverb + kind of an abstract sensibility that makes it less uncomfortable to listen to now. i'm like, 18 ish here? i'd only really been making electronic music for a couple years at this point.

abstinence

couple of posters for the pandemic-era twitch streams. i think maybe there's recordings of them but i'll have to dig around

cover art for various singles

djing

i determined in this era that i'm actually not a huge fan of djing as a medium but it was cool to try

mac n trees

at 333, we played w black van and there were like a really bonkers number of drunk underage people hahahahha. not the only time i booked a show and that happened tbh

redgate show

did a little solo show, jim had this awesome archive of cool visuals so i let him pick, thanks jim

cottage bistro show

this was just a duo set but we played w the full band on a monthly basis for almost a year??? best ive ever been at piano

studios

dayton boots was a really awesome one, there was a boot workshop in one of the rooms + the folks that split the space had a TON of really awesome gear to play with

her place was effectively a bunker there were no windows so i always lost my mind in there and emerged into the morning sun blinking and suffering. made some cool stuff though i was really into bass house at the time.

misc

again im sure if I dig i can find a plethora of other photos of me playing guitar on various camping trips
